A few purported videos have surfaced on social media after the flight landed in Kochi. In the video, crew members and other co-passengers can be seen intervening and stopping Jamsheer from opening the emergency door.

Kochi: A passenger has been taken in custody for allegedly trying to open the emergency door of a Batik Air flight, which was bound for Kerala’s Kochi. An FIR has been filed against the passenger. The person has also been accused of damaging the exit window’s panel.
