Bengaluru: Karnataka Minister for Urban Development Yathindra Siddaramaiah sparked a major controversy in the state by calling the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) a “thousand-headed venomous snake”. Demanding an apology for Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, he said that the RSS is fueled by communalism and casteism.
