TCS to acquire MHP from Porsche, set up AI Mobility Centre for high-performance carmaker

TCS will acquire Porsche’s management and IT consultancy MHP as part of a broader five-year technology partnership. The deal includes a dedicated AI Mobility Centre of Excellence aimed at expanding AI use across Porsche’s engineering, manufacturing and business operations.

New Delhi: Tata Consultancy Services is set to acquire Porsche-owned management and IT consultancy MHP as part of a wider artificial intelligence partnership with the German sports car maker. TCS will acquire 100 per cent of MHP through a subsidiary, subject to regulatory and competition approvals. The companies expect the transaction to close in the coming months.
