PS6 and next Xbox chip leak claims a huge graphics power gap

A new leak claims chips for Sony's next console and Xbox Project Helix have reached tape-out. The performance estimates are unconfirmed and TFLOPS alone cannot predict real gaming speed.

Chips linked to Sony’s next PlayStation and Microsoft’s next Xbox have reportedly reached tape-out, according to a new claim from hardware leaker KeplerL2. VideoCardz reported that the leaker estimated about 40 TFLOPS of theoretical graphics performance for the PlayStation chip and 56 TFLOPS for Microsoft’s Project Helix.
