Microsoft Copilot gets more than 20 legal skills for contracts and cases

Microsoft 365 Copilot now offers more than 20 legal skills for drafting, review, research support and multi-file work. Partner plugins are rolling out, while India pricing and detailed regional availability remain unannounced.

Microsoft has made more than 20 legal-focused skills generally available inside Microsoft 365 Copilot, bringing contract review, drafting and matter-management tasks into tools such as Word and Copilot Cowork. The company is also beginning to roll out plugins built by legal technology partners.

The release builds on a preview called Legal Agent. Microsoft says the capabilities now appear as legal plugins rather than a separate product. Access requires a Microsoft 365 Copilot commercial licence,........
