Tesla drives into Delhi-NCR with Aerocity showroom and Model Y
New Delhi: Tesla has rolled into Delhi-NCR with its second showroom in India, setting up shop at the bustling Aerocity’s Worldmark 3 complex. The opening marks another step in the electric carmaker’s slow but steady expansion in the country, this time targeting the national capital region after debuting in Mumbai earlier this year.
The space in Aerocity is more than just a place to check out cars. Tesla has leased about 8,200 square feet here for nine years, starting with a monthly rent of ₹17.22 lakh. According to CRE Matrix data, the rent will climb by 15 percent every 36 months, showing Tesla is planning to stay for the long run.
