Ahead of women’s quota debate, PM Modi to address ‘Nari Shakti Vandan’ conference today

PM Modi conference in Delhi: The conference comes just ahead of the special session of Parliament beginning April 16, where constitutional amendments to provide 33 per cent reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies are expected to be taken up.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a Nari Shakti Vandan conference at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi at 11 am on Monday to spread awareness about the women reservation bill to be tabled in Parliament later this week.

The Prime Minister will also interact directly with women working across various sectors, highlighting the government’s push for women-led development.
