Telangana weather update: Heat wave continues as temperatures cross 44°C

Thunderstorms and light to moderate rain with gusty winds of 30-40 kmph is likely after April 19 but they are unlikely to provide any relief. Instead, they will likely increase humidity.

Hyderabad: Jagtial district of Telangana hit a record high of 44.4°C over the last 24 hours as heat wave persisted across the state. Adilabad, Komarambheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nalgonda, Nirmal, Nizamabad districts recorded 44.3°C followed by Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Siddipet districts.........
