Hyderabad: About nine workers have been rescued from Mir Alam Tank past midnight by Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency teams, reports said.

The workers – two engineers, seven labourers were stranded after their boat engine failed when they were returning rom work. The rescue came amid dense water Hyacinth and presence of crocodiles.
