BSF foils infiltration bid in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba, kills 7 JeM terrorists
Samba: Border Security Force (BSF) successfully stopped a major infiltration attempt along the international border in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir on the intervening night of May 8 and 9. According to BSF officials, seven terrorists were killed during the operation and significant damage was done to a Pakistani border post named Dhandhar.
The group of heavily armed terrorists tried to enter Indian territory under the cover of darkness. The BSF, which was already on high alert, spotted the movement and immediately responded. A heavy exchange of fire took place, during which all seven terrorists were neutralised. No casualties were reported on the Indian side.
