A day after firing at Anant Singh's convoy, Mokama village sees another shootout
Mokama: Fresh firing incident took place in Mokama, Bihar on Thursday, just a day after miscreants opened fired on Anant Singh’s convoy, narrowly missing him. Sonu-Monu gang allegedly targeted the house of Mukesh, a resident of Hamza village. Mukesh, a former associate of the gang, had sought help from Anant Singh, former Mokama MLA known as “Chhote Sarkar.”
According to sources, Sonu-Monu gang accused Mukesh of embezzling Rs 65 lakh from their brick kiln business. Mukesh, who had been appointed by the gang to manage their operations, reportedly fell out with them after the allegations. As retaliation, the gang locked Mukesh’s house in Hamza village.
On Wednesday evening, Anant Singh’s convoy was attacked in Mokama. Sonu-Monu gang allegedly carried out the assault, firing indiscriminately.........
