The domestic aviation sector has been hit by the crisis in West Asia due to the US-Iran war. The Ministry of Civil Aviation has undertaken a series of measures to provide relief to domestic carriers which extends from partial ATF price hike to a reduction of landing and parking charges.

Kolkata: To help the domestic civil aviation sector that has fallen into a deep air pocket, thanks to the US-Iran war, the civil aviation ministry has put in a place a few relief measures. While the govt has already announced only a partial ATF price hike, capping the increase for domestic airlines at 25% for domestic routes, a new decision was taken to trim landing........
