New Delhi: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has announced plans for a fresh protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar on October 10 if Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar does not resign.

CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke made the announcement on Friday, a day after the group held a protest at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park over its demand for Kumar’s resignation. The organisation has alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, though these allegations have not been established.
