New Delhi: NASA Astronaut Don Pettit has shared images of the 2025 Maha Kumbh captured from the International Space Station (ISS). This is the largest gathering of humans in the world with more than 10 crore attendees so far, with over 45 crore expected to visit before the festival ends in a month, on Maha Shivratri. The festival has been planned in an environmentally conscious way to sustainably handle the influx of such a large number of visitors, with the infrastructure enhanced and the deployment of cutting-edge technologies. The entire festival is being monitored using AI powered cameras and surveillance drones.
