New Delhi: Pakistan Army’s aviation wing suffered a major tragedy on Wednesday when an Mi-17 helicopter crashed near Muzaffarabad shortly after take-off, killing everyone on board.

According to the military’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the helicopter is suspected to have suffered a technical malfunction before going down. Rescue and recovery teams were immediately dispatched to the crash site.
