Kiren Rijiju shares list of ‘dimagi Naxals’, says PM Modi did not target opposition leaders

Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has rejected the opposition’s claim that Prime Minister Narendra Modi called his political rivals “dimagi Naxals”. Rijiju said Modi referred to people who support Maoists, separatists and attempts to divide India. The clarification followed strong criticism from Congress leaders.

New Delhi: Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju on Sunday rejected the opposition’s criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remarks on “dimagi Naxals”. He said the prime minister did not use the term for opposition leaders.

In a post on X, Rijiju shared a list of people whom Modi had allegedly referred to during his Independence Day speech at the Red Fort on Saturday.
