A former India spinner has slammed Yuzvendra Chahal after a clip of him allegedly vaping on flight while travelling with the Punjab Kings squad during the ongoing IPL 2026.
New Delhi: Former India spinner Laxman Sivaramakrishnan has slammed the Punjab Kings (PBKS) spinner over his alleged vaping controversy. Sivaramakrishnan said Chahal should be behind bars for vaping on a flight. His sharp reaction came after a video of Chahal went viral on social media, where he was seen using an e-cigarette during PBKS’ journey to Hyderabad in the ongoing IPL 2026.
In the clip that took social media by storm, Chahal can be seen vaping and trying to hide the e-cigarette after being caught in the act in one of Arshdeep Singh’s vlogs. Chahal was slammed by many for his actions, as e-cigarettes are strictly banned on flights and can pose a serious risk to the rest of the passengers.
