New Delhi: West Indies missed out on the direct spot for the 2027 ODI World Cup after slipping to the tenth spot in the current ICC ODI rankings. The two-time champions will now have to battle it out in the qualifiers to earn a spot in the World Cup next year. The top eight teams in the ICC ODI rankings as of September 30, along with hosts South Africa and Zimbabwe, will directly qualify for the 2027 ODI World Cup.
