Write Mind | Stone-Pelting At RSS Kids Camp: Where’s The Outrage Brigade Now?

Recently, in Veer Savarkar Nagar, Kachore village, near Dombivli, around 35 children were attending a sports training session conducted by the local unit of the RSS. These innocent children were engaged in physical activities and traditional games under the guidance of trainer Pawan Kumar when, suddenly, unknown individuals began hurling stones at them from nearby bushes around 8 PM on Sunday. This was not the first time. The shakha in charge (mukhya-shikshak), Sanju Chaudhary, confirmed that stone-pelting had occurred earlier as well, but they had initially ignored it, assuming it might have been accidental.

Sunday’s attack was deliberate, forcing the trainers to halt all activities to protect the children from injury. A complaint was filed at Tilak Nagar Police Station, and an investigation is underway.

The stone-pelting at an RSS shakha in Dombivli (Maharashtra), where children were targeted, should not be seen as an isolated incident but as part of a long-standing pattern of attacks against Hindus and Hindu organisations. This must be understood not as a one-off event but as yet another instance of the deep-seated intolerance within Muslim leadership and organisations.

Let’s focus on the facts. The RSS is an organisation that is palpably the custodian of Hindu society and cultural values, yet it is being vilified, traduced, demonised, and even attacked by those who cannot tolerate its existence.
