A well-coordinated and alarming plan of election manipulation has allegedly emerged, centring on the Ansar and VDP Directorate. According to the allegations, a grand strategy is being implemented for the Bangladesh elections scheduled on February 12 by keeping the armed forces, the administration, and the police occupied elsewhere while controlling the core election process through Ansar and VDP members.

Approximately 550,000 Ansar and VDP members are being deployed for field-level election duties. It is alleged that since August 5, the newly appointed Director General of Ansar and VDP, Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud, recruited around 3,300 general students, who were active members of Shibir and Hizbut Tahrir, into the Ansar force.
