The Issue: Mayor Mamdani giving an anti-capitalism July 4th address while flanked by naturalized citizens.

What a sadly missed opportunity (“Zo’s US Birthday bash,” July 4).

For our nation’s 250th birthday, Mayor Mamdani could have given a marvelous speech extolling the country that embraced him as a citizen less than decade ago and elected him as mayor of our greatest city. His journey embodies the pathway that is the American Dream.

Instead, flanked by naturalized citizens used as human props staring blankly at a camera, he offered a version of an American dystopia. His own career proves the inanity of his words.

Karl Marx knew what the DSA doesn’t. America hates socialism

Reaching a new ‘milestone’ in Mamdani’s close-Rikers plan is no reason to cheer

America learned long ago that air-conditioning saves lives.........
