The Issue: Assemblywoman Emily Gallagher’s claim that shoplifters have a “biological need” to steal.

Insanity rules in New York. State Assemblywoman Emily Gallagher has hit a new low for Democrats (“DSA idea is ‘steal’ly bad,” Aug. 16).

Is inciting theft not a crime? Arrest her.

It’s devastating for a community to have stores close. The people suffer, and the workers lose their jobs. Corporate doesn’t suffer.

A biological need to steal toothpaste and soap opens the door to a need to steal a TV or a coat. Maybe even a biological need to shoot someone.

Gallagher should be sanctioned. I am ashamed New York has put such a disgusting woman in office. Anarchy is occurring. Wake up!
