Mikie Sherril’s still ducking on New Jersey’s noncitizen-voter scandal

New Jersey just finally deleted the names of about 5,000 noncitizens whom the state put on the voter rolls even though they checked the “not a citizen” box while applying for a driver’s license or state ID — but it’s still ducking the larger issue.

Gov. Mikie Sherrill blames a “software error,” though the company that supplied the main software says it warned the state of the issue, but the Democrats who run Jersey apparently just shrugged.

Nor has she addressed the issue that simply skipping the box on the Motor Vehicle Commission form where it asks you to say so if you’re not a citizen........
