Mamdani & Chi Ossé’s performances this week prove they’re in the wrong field
Mayor Zohran Mamdani and City Councilman Chi Ossé are in the wrong field: As they proved this week, they belong in show business, not politics.
On Wednesday, the hard-left Ossé put on several acts — first as a protester of nonexistent “deed theft” to block a lawful eviction, then by ignoring cops and resisting their attempts to arrest him and finally by heading to the hospital to check for supposed injuries from the cops.
Mamdani instantly responded with his own charade: “I have seen the concerning footage of Council Member Chi Ossé’s arrest earlier today and am in touch with [NYPD] Commissioner [Jessica] Tisch about the nature of the arrest,” the mayor said.
And for good measure: “It is a pleasure to work alongside Council Member Ossé, a leader in his community and a partner in building a safer and more affordable........
