Dan Bourchier has been appointed general manager of SBS’s National Indigenous Television (NITV), the station that gave him his first start in television in 2010.

Bourchier is currently the chair of the ABC’s Bonner Committee, which advises the national broadcaster’s managing director and board on Indigenous affairs. He was recently a senior news anchor for the ABC News Channel, and led the ABC’s national coverage of the Voice to Parliament Referendum. Prior to this, he hosted The Drum.

In addition, he has been chair of BlakDance, Council Member of the University of Canberra Council, and Non-Executive Director of Outback........
