Swifties around the globe are waiting feverishly for The Reveal. What did the bride, Taylor Swift, wear? It’s now Wednesday and they still don’t know. The stress must be shattering their nerves. All that the designer, Dior’s Jonathan Anderson, will say is: “It was a great honour. But no, I can’t tell you anything about it. It will all come out in due course.” Some who were there tell us it was “magical”, “emotional”, “intimate” and “wowwww”. The aim is clearly to create agonising curiosity. When details are finally released, there will be an almighty explosion of joy.

The Wedding may well turn out to be the biggest and most stunning of all celeb and royal nuptials. The razmataz, the ostentation, every stich of the dress, the kisses, the couple’s body language, every facial expression, gossip and fabrications will be pored over by the mainstream and social media.
