Tech CEOs are paid to pump up the prowess of their AI technologies—and AI godfather Yann LeCun is calling foul.

One major risk of AI, he warns, is making major life changes based on inflated claims about the technology’s future. LeCun, who is the former chief of AI at Meta and the current chairman of AI company AMI Labs, spoke with Axios in advance of the Liberty Science Center’s Genius Gala later this month.
