How bad has the recent cryptocurrency crash been for investors in crypto? To get a sense of the scale of the losses, look no further than Brian Armstrong, CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase. One of the most prominent advocates in the world for cryptocurrency —and one of the global crypto industry’s most public figures—Armstrong has seen his personal wealth plummet by more than $10 billion as of Tuesday evening, down from a high of almost $18 billion last summer, Bloomberg reports.
