Welcome to the show. I’m readin’ in the paper that crime is on the rise almost everywhere in the United States. Fraud, robbery, murder. But I can’t relate, because we have nothin’ like that here in Slenderville. Things have been so quiet over the years that old Bertha Backstrom used to go out and commit crimes just to feel wanted. After watchin’ crime stories on TV, I thought of the perfect crime. Don’t wanna give bad people ideas, but I reckon if ya need to be a thief use your brain. Steal a news van.
