Jimmy Kimmel opened his latest show with a message that’s likely to get under President Donald Trump’s skin.

“I am more popular than the president of the United States,” he declared, referring to a new poll from The Economist and YouGov that finds more Americans approve of Kimmel than Trump.

The poll found that 44% of Americans approve of Kimmel, versus 41% who disapprove, while just 41% approve of Trump compared with 54% who disapprove.
