CNN’s chief data analyst Harry Enten has highlighted how one group of voters has turned on Donald Trump after it swung right and proved to be a key contributor to the president’s 2024 election win.

“He has just fallen off a cliff when it comes to Generation Z,” Enten said.

Just weeks into his return to office, Trump’s net approval rating (the percentage who approve minus those who disapprove) with Gen Z sat at 10 points, according to a CBS News/YouGov survey conducted at the time.
