Are you a 'far right fascist'? According to Scotland's political elite you might be

To be fair, almost a full two hours had elapsed before Nicola Sturgeon uttered the dread words ‘the far right’ like a parental threat to keep the kids on the straight and narrow. “If you don’t eat your greens, the ‘far right’ will get you.” Oh no: anything but the far right.

Towards the end of her In Conversation event in Glasgow, the other night, the former First Minister finally got her act together. “You know, we don’t beat the far right by trying to be more like the far right. We beat them by offering a better vision and better alternatives.”

A few days earlier, Monica Lennon proclaimed that she was proud to stand with the STUC and its president, Roz Foyer, and others to unite against ‘the far right’.

“Glasgow will not be hijacked by fascists”, declared the Scottish Labour leadership hopeful.

At this point, elsewhere in the UK, it was becoming increasingly apparent that Cambridge University and Glasgow University had both been duped into believing that their fairy-tale professor, Jason Arday, was one of the world’s top sociologists. Within a few days, the Salon Sandinistas began to warn us that some of the outrage at this chancer was coming from ‘the far right’.

Shameless Sturgeon rewrites history – but fools no one

C'mon, John - cut tax and let Scotland flourish - or will the SNP not let you?

Scotland’s political elites seem to loathe the people and traditions of the Highlands

If you want to gain admittance to the Platinum Lounges where the fake left’s executive class and their media glove puppets hang out you must first deliver a treatise on the dangers of “the far right”.

It’s now........
