Harvest is a time of joy as farmers reap the benefits of their hard work. Kashmir’s harvest season is, for most of the cultivation, towards autumn. One of the fruits that is harvested these days is walnut. Know for its value in dry fruit market, Kashmir produces good amount of walnut, and it can fetch reasonable income to growers. But unlike plants like apple, plum or pear, walnut is a majestic tree. Its size and height is really huge. So climbing the tree and plucking fruit comes with its own dangers.........
