YTL Power International—controlled by Malaysian tycoon Francis Yeoh and his siblings—plans to double its data center capacity to 2.4 gigawatts by 2032 amid booming demand for digital infrastructure needed to power AI.

SIPP Power, a subsidiary of YTL Power, will develop a new 1.2-gigawatt data center campus at the Sedenak Tech Park in the southern Malaysia state of Johor, about 28 kilometers northwest of the company’s first data center, the YTL Green Data Center Park in Kulai.
