“We keep saying he can’t go any lower,” he says of U.S. President Donald Trump, “but somehow he always manages.”
Thomson is talking about Trump’s slur on NATO forces in Afghanistan.
“We’ve never needed them,” Trump told his pals at Fox News.
“They’ll say they sent some troops to Afghanistan . . . and they did, they stayed a little back, a little off the front lines.”
Across NATO countries, from Canada to the U.K. and even little Luxembourg, people were furious.
