Flags taken down across Suffolk as 'patriotism' row breaks out

A Union Jack flag has been attached to a lamp post in Springlands Way in Sudbury in recent weeks, following the national ‘Operation Raise the Colours’ campaign to put up more St George's and Union Jack flags.

Various union jacks and crosses of St George have also been tied to lampposts in Normanston Drive and Peto Way in Lowestoft amid a growing movement in Suffolk.
