Film made in Suffolk and Norfolk wins Hollywood award

The Sheriff was directed by Ben Pryke, written by Tom Crich and supported by students and staff at West Suffolk College - including Charlie Scott-Bell, who has since worked on the Apple TV hit Slow Horses.

The 15-minute creation was filmed at the college, around Bury St Edmunds and at the former Anglia Square complex in Norwich.

It has now received the ‘best short film’ award from The Hollywood International Indie Film and Screenplay awards, while Mr Pryke – who lectures at the college – also won best director for an independent........
