Vandalised broads beauty spot car park to be repaired
Police were called to the car park at Beccles Quay, off Fen Lane in September after a ticket machine had been ripped from the ground.
Beccles Town Councillors have been working with its parking contractor Hozah to reinstate the machine.
A spokesman said repair work "has proven problematic, both because we need to get mains electricity to the new location of the machine and because the Environment Agency have held up the project because the work is adjacent to a tidal river and therefore requires a permit".

Officials are planning for the machine to be reinstated at the end of March or early April.
The council has suspended penalty charge notices until the machine is back in action.
Visitors who use the car park without paying via the Hozah website will not be fined.
Anyone with information about the vandalism is urged to contact Suffolk Constabulary quoting reference CAD 52.
