New delay for major housing development as planners work through concerns
If approved, the Beccles and Worlingham Garden Neighbourhood would eventually deliver 1,250 homes, alongside employment land, a new primary school, community facilities, and green space.
An outline planning application for the eastern neighbourhood, consisting of up to 721 homes, was submitted to East Suffolk Council last year and is currently being considered by officials.
