Housebuilder Hopkins Homes had unveiled early plans for around 140 new homes on land off Proctor Road and Big Back Lane in Chedgrave, following a public consultation event.

Although a formal planning application has yet to be submitted, the proposals have already sparked concern among locals in the village near Loddon.
