The properties are in West Row, near Mildenhall, and are part of the Silverfield View development led by Edmundham Developments.

The joint venture is a partnership between Suffolk County Council and Lovell Partnerships.

Chris Chambers, cabinet member for transport strategy, planning and waste at Suffolk County Council and a member of the board, said: "It’s great to see the Edmundham Developments portfolio developing and bringing even more homes to West Suffolk.

"With sales already secured at our new site in Newmarket, we’re looking forward to bringing more high quality and sustainable homes, social housing and new community facilities to the area."

The scheme will deliver a mix of two, three, and four-bedroom homes, including 30 affordable properties, on land east of Beeches Road with access from Mildenhall Road.

The development will also include a new community building for the parish council.

Construction began earlier this month.

"Silverfield View represents not just new housing, but a long-term investment in the West Row community, creating attractive, sustainable places where families can thrive.

The homes will feature triple-glazed windows and doors, as well as upgraded insulation to external walls and ground floors.

Each property will also be equipped with air source heat pump systems, photovoltaic panels, and underfloor heating.

Homes are built to exceed modern standards, combining thoughtful design, high specification and future ready technology to deliver lasting comfort and performance.

The project forms part of Edmundham Developments’ wider portfolio in west Suffolk.
