And the winner is… White Horse Pub & Bakery, Holme-next-the-Sea, Norfolk

Located on the Norfolk coast, the White Horse Pub & Bakery is a 70-cover pub with menus designed to support the best local produce from farmers to fishermen.

The refurbished interior has low ceilings, an inglenook fireplace and restored dining furniture to cater for all dining needs, including a large table for family get togethers.

The on-site bakery opened in April 2025 and serves artisan bread and sweet treats, plus wholesome breakfasts.

In keeping with its commitment to the local community, the team has prioritised recruiting locally to ensure that the spirit of the pub remains deeply rooted in its surroundings.

The judges loved the “absolutely stunning” aesthetic, adding that it “portrayed Norfolk in its best light”, with cosy décor while also feeling clean and light.

They were also impressed by the friendly and hospitable team.
