Proposal to demolish building behind ice cream shop and restaurant on seafront
Ben Llewellyn has applied to East Suffolk Council to demolish a storage building at Tides Reach on The Esplanade in Lowestoft to make way for nine steel containers.
The site has a takeaway and restaurant on the ground floor, and has residential use on the upper floors.
If approved, the containers will replace the existing brick outbuilding which is described as "now starting to fail" as the roof is leaking.

In planning documents it describes the containers as "removable" and therefore they will........
