Mr Childs, of NSC Enterprises, bid for retrospective permission from South Norfolk Council in March last year for a small campsite with five caravan/motorhome pitches on agricultural land at Field View Barn, in Pound Lane, Toft Monks.

The site is currently operating as Field of Dreams and is a certified location for the Caravan and Motorhome Club.

The application also included retrospective plans a new storage building and a provision of a hard surface, alongside proposing two toilet and shower units.

But the bid sparked a wave of objections from nearby neighbours, who raised concerns about the potential light and noise pollution, risk........
