The 21-year-old had seen her father, Raymond Williams, punch her mother, Tania Williams, in the ribs during an incident in 2019.

Williams, 61, has gone on trial accused of murdering Ms Williams after being "consumed by jealousy" and unable to come to terms with her new life as a single woman.

The body of the 49-year-old mother of four was found "lying in a pool of blood" near her home in Catherine Gardens, Thorpe St Andrew, before police were called at 11.41pm on January 17 this year.

Giving evidence at Norwich Crown Court on Tuesday (August 4), the witness recalled a previous incident in April 2019.

On that occasion, the daughter - who was then aged 13 or 14 - said she remembered an "argument" in the bedroom that got "louder and louder".

She told the jury of seven men and five women she went to find........
