Campsite owner admits sabotaging bird scaring guns near Norfolk glamping site

Nigel Marsh, who runs holiday company My Mini Break, had been upset by bird scarers on neighbouring farmland which he said were disturbing guests at his glamping site at Edgefield, near Holt.

He had claimed the gas-powered devices, which can produce blasts of up to 130 decibels and are equivalent to the sound of a gun going off, had been placed on the campsite perimeter as part of an ongoing spat.

Norwich Crown Court heard the 61-year-old "sabotaged" the equipment, which made gunshot-like noises every 20 minutes, on August 6, 2024.
