The development will bring 16 new homes to Wellington Road in Eye through a partnership between Mid Suffolk District Council and Rose Builders.

The site was formerly home to Paddock House, a 30-bed care home and day centre that closed more than 12 years ago.

Demolished in 2023, the property had sat unused ever since.
