Nigel Farage spoke after Mr Lowe revealed he had been consulting with lawyers following his suspension over alleged bullying and verbal threats.

The Norfolk MP, who denies the accusations, said his legal team were “looking at everything” in the wake of the claims about his conduct, which he described as “entirely false and damaging”.

Mr Farage also hinted that the results of the investigation by an independent King's Counsel (KC) into the accusations could be expected this week.
