Now, a national survey seems to have put another reality check on Rupert Lowe's prospects.

A new poll has found that the Great Yarmouth MP's stature and influence among voters may not be as strong as many of those commentators supposed.

The survey, conducted by JL Partners, discovered more than 70pc of Reform UK voters do not know who Mr Lowe is, with more than 85 per cent of the public saying the same thing.
