Norfolk seaside attraction opens newly renovated tea rooms
The tearooms at Merrivale Model Village have reopened to the public after a major revamp was completed.
A Facebook post from the model village said: "We're officially back open. Our newly renovated tearooms are ready to welcome you, and we can't wait for you to come and enjoy them.

"We've updated our menu with gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options, alongside a delicious selection of fresh cakes and our usual quality teas and coffee.
"And just in time for the colder days, heating just installed, so you can stay cosy while you visit. Pop in, relax and enjoy the space - we'd love to see you."

The new café and tearooms will be run by the owners of the model village.
It comes after Christopher's Tea Rooms, a family-run business which had been based in Marine Parade for 21 years, closed in November.
The Merrivale Model Village first opened in 1961 and in addition to the tea rooms, has a crazy golf course and old penny arcade.
